Alaskan Adventure Tours begins hunting the Majestic Alaskan Mountain Goat September 15th of each fall thru January 30th.  The Alaskan Coastal Mountain Goat enjoys the reputation of a World Class Trophy.  By each fall when the season opens, the Coastal Mountain Goats have put on a beautiful, extra-heavy white winter coat to prepare them for the cold months ahead.  A combination of 10-inch plus horns and their dense, long white coat attracts the serious full-body mount Trophy Hunters.

Alaskan Adventure Tours hunts the Coastal Mountain Goat in the Northern District of Prince William Sound.  The boat is the base camp.  We will anchor up in a calm, protected bay at the base of the mountains where the mountain goats are located.  We will spot the goats from the boat.  We will then traverse the mountain to approximately 2,000 feet and set-up a spike camp. We provide first- class Swedish Heavy Weather Mountain Tents for our camps. You will be eating freeze dried Mountain House meals for the duration of the mountain portion of your hunt. You must understand that this is a physically challenging hunt and that you need to be in good physical shape to take on this adventure.  We enjoy an incredibly high success rate with our mountain goat hunts. 

This is a four-person maximum fully guided 2x1 hunt.  You need only to bring:  personal gear, rifle and ammunition, hunting license and mountain goat tag.
